The Sol Crew was inspired by American conceptual artist and painter, Sol Lewitt (1928-2007). He worked in a variety of mediums including paintings, drawings, and lithograph prints. American Trench drew inspiration from his “wall drawings” which contain large stripes in bold colors – particularly the installation at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, DC. As always, their Sols Crews are knit from the same cotton as their own iconic style – the Kennedy Crew. Knit on a 168-needle machine, these socks are super soft but stay firm on your leg.
